OAuth Security Workshop
2022
Trondheim/Norway
After two online-only OAuth Security Workshops, we are happy to return to in-person events in 2022.
The three-day event takes place in Trondheim, Norway, from May 4 to May 6, 2022.
The event will not be a hybrid event. On-site participation is required.
Preliminary Schedule (updated 2022-04-09)
All times in local time (CEST = UTC + 2)
Travelling to Trondheim
Trondheim Airport (TRD) is located about 30 minutes away from the hotel.
We recommend to use the Værnes Ekspressen express bus line to get to the hotel (bus stop Royal Garden). Tickets can be bought at vending machines at the airport, and from the bus driver.
Tickets are sold at a machine at the airport, and by personnel outside the bus.
You can buy a round trip ticket (valid 3 months) and thus avoid having to buy another ticket when traveling back.
If you do not have a return ticket when leaving, you may buy one online (Norwegian only!) or when you disembark the bus at the airport.
Stops (updated 2022-05-03 with new information):
Going to Scandic Nidelven — Solsiden
Going to Hotel Britannia — Olav Tryggvasons gate
Leaving Scandic Nidelven — Søndre gate, outside hotel Chesterfield
Leaving Hotel Britannia — Dronningensgate D2
Please find up-to date information about Covid-related travel restrictions at the website of the Norwegian Institute of Public Health.

Workshop Submissions
Like the last in-person workshop in Stuttgart, this workshop will again consist of a series of pre-submitted and reviewed sessions and an unconference (barcamp-style) part to facilitate less formal exchange regarding ongoing work in the various standardization groups.
Call for Sessions
To submit a session beforehand, please use the submission form.
Submission deadline: March 23, 2022 (anywhere on earth).
Notifications: About a week after the submission deadline. Some submissions may be accepted earlier (early acceptance).
Program Committee:
Ralf Küsters, Head of the Institute of Information Security, University of Stuttgart
Torsten Lodderstedt, CTO and CPO, yes.com
Nat Sakimura, Chairman, OpenID Foundation
Unconference Submissions
Session proposals for the unconference part can only be made at the event itself.
Norway's Best Hotel Breakfast
The workshop takes place at the Scandic Nidelven hotel, awarded 13 times for Norway's best hotel breakfast. And while budget constraints prevented us from testing all other hotels in Norway, we are happy to confirm that the breakfast at Scandic Nidelven is, indeed, excellent!
To get a discounted rate, use the booking code BUDE040522 until April 3 to book up to four rooms. Note: Please book on the English or Norsk website (and don't ask why). Update: Discounted rooms are no longer available. Please also consider booking at nearby hotels, like the Scandic Solsiden, only three walking minutes away from the conference location.
The 5-Star Experience
In walking distance to the conference location, and a little closer to the city center, you can stay at Hotel Britannia. Kings and Queens have resided here, yet not for an OAuth Security Workshop.
The discounted rate is no longer available.
